Good Food Box
The 2nd Wednesday of every month is a very special day in our community! The Urban Pantry runs a monthly program; The Good Food Box. Barrie Families Unite fundraises and has monthly donors who help us be able to purchase 140 Good Food Boxes each month and deliver to families who are Food Bank dependent. This 25lb delivery of fresh fruits and veggies allows much needed exposure to fresh produce to food insecure households.
In our last fiscal year, Barrie Families Unite distributed 1581 boxes, valued at $31,620.
