Help with crisis situations
Barrie Families Unite started as a Facebook group at the outset of the global pandemic (March 14, 2020). It was created to facilitate help within our community.
BFU was, and still is a grassroots initiative of community caring for community with grocery gap shops (between Food Bank orders), seasonal clothing and crisis situations.
Now, as a registered Not for Profit, Barrie Families Unite has established collaborations with many local agencies in our community.
BFU, with it’s focus on grocery, clothing and crisis support has been able to help augment the valuable work being done by the Women & Children’s Shelter, Busby Center, CMHA, Salvation Army, Christmas Cheer, CATULPA, Empower Simcoe, Ryan’s Hope and many others.
Please help us continue our important programming.
